Vibration Analysis Services

We use for field services the following technology:

Microlog CMVA 65 Portable Data Collector/FFT Analyzer The new Microlog CMVA 65 makes it easier than ever to detect and identify the causes of machine failures. Vibration Analysis

1.- VIBRATION ANALYSIS TEST Troubleshooting and resolution of vibration problems on rotating equipment, structures and other components.

2.- ACCEPTANCE TESTING Acceptance testing assures that new or rebuilt equipment is in an acceptable operating condition. Vibration analysis, and/or laser alignment are typically utilized to assess the condition of new equipment.

3.- PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE Development and support of in-house programs as well as establishing and maintaining condition monitoring programs for your facility. A Rotating Machinery PM Program involves the scheduled collection of vibration data from the various machines. All rotating machinery vibrates, and this vibration will increase as the equipment wears. The periodically collected vibration data can be analyzed by a trained engineer or technician to determine the cause and the required machinery repair.

Early Warning Fault Detection in Rolling Element Bearings Using Microlog Enveloping

The basic goal of a predictive maintenance program is to accurately monitor machine trends which allow you to make early predictions of future bearing malfunctions. Such premature indications of early-stage bearing faults

Applications

Field Rotor Balancing

The CMVA 60 Microlog Basic Balancing Wizard adds a new dimension to precision balancing, whether in the field or in the shop. The Advanced Balancing Wizard contains the features found in all Micrologs but adds, among other features, the static couple computation which is very useful for balancing.

With the advent of the Microlog CMVA 65, it is possible to achieve precision balance levels in a minimum amount of time. The CMVA 65’s time synchronous averaging filters allow accurate results even when the 1X RPM signal is low and embedded in noise. These filters allow the technician to quickly balance machinery, even when background vibration is present or with closely spaced operating speed components (for example, fan banks or centrifuges

AC Motor Analysis

Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) with the Microlog

Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) is a technique used to determine the operating condition of AC induction motors without interrupting production. SKF Condition Monitoring offers several integrated methods to assess and track the condition of critical plant induction motors.

Easy to use techniques can be employed to detect and analyze critical electrical machinery to prevent catastrophic failure and loss of production. MCSA techniques can be used in coordination with vibration and thermal analysis to confirm key machinery diagnostic decisions.

Frequency Analysis Module (FAM)

Frequency Analysis Module (FAM) which automatically overlays not only bearing defect frequencies on a collected spectra, but any defect frequency including unbalance, misalignment, looseness and more. This makes identification of bearing and other mechanical/structural problems a snap.
